Isabel Lagomasino, MD, MSHS

Program Director

Isabel Lagomasino, MD, MSHS, is the MGH/McLean Adult Residency Program Director. Dr. Lagomasino graduated from the MGH residency in 1996, prior to the MGH and McLean programs being combined. After spending a year at MGH as a junior attending in the APS, on the CL and telepsychiatry services, and in the Depression Clinical and Research Program, she moved to Los Angeles and completed a 5-year NIMH K12 award in health services research at UCLA, obtaining her MS degree in Health Services and commencing a line of research dedicated to improving access to mental health services for underserved, vulnerable populations. She moved to USC in 2002 and was continuously an attending in the resident outpatient clinics. She was the Program Director of the psychiatry residency from 2007-2022 and Vice Chair for Education from 2017-2022. She also recently served as the Director for integrated Psychiatric Services at the LAC+USC Medical Center and was previously the Medical Director of Adult Outpatient Services.
